Z & S - their big week!

ok, it's finally here. 
my best is getting married.
and i literally could not be more happy. for her, for him, for them, in general. i am in love with this couple, and they deserve the absolute best week to start off their marriage.


we meet in 2009, and both got into a study abroad that summer. Italy and Greece. 
Did we hold hands and skip through the streets? 
Yes. 
Did we eat gelato on the regular? 
Yes.
Did we get suppppperrrrrr chubby, but love every second of it?
You bet ya.


College roommates, bridesmaids, best friends, Rocket Summer and Taco Bell junkies, in love with Steve Nash, wannabe Olsen twins.... That's my S and me.

valentine's day dinner

cp was so sweet and surprised me with a facial and a pedicure for valentine's day. and honestly - i loved it!

i'm "that girl"... the one who "hates" valentine's day. don't ask me why; i've always been that way.

and he knows that - but being the sweetheart that he is, he surprised me anyway! so nice. and i enjoyed every single minute of my hour facial and 45 minute pedi.

as i was enjoy this v-day treat, i thought, "i really should suck it up and do something nice for him." keep in mind, it was 4 pm. and i had nothing prepared for dinner. NOTHING. i was planning on doing spaghetti... if there was any in the pantry. (worst wife ever, right?)

so i hurried home, and at 4:30 a light went on in my head and ....

i needed this ... my fuel!

(never cook without one)

luckily i had some frozen tilapia.

and i can always go for a fresh spinach salad!

honestly, so excited about these bad boys on my veggies...

(living in italy made me fall in love with balsamic vin.)

turned out to be the best. carrots. everrrrrr.

i mean, am i right? am i right?!

the extent of my grilling skills begins and ends here.

my mother-in-law got this for us... and it was delicious! i recommend trying it - and (since i don't eat meat) CP says the one for beef is even better!

for all of you who follow my istagram know how great CP does food presentation... i need to work on mine! hah.

it turned out to be the best valentine's day that i have ever had.

love my husband, and so in love with our adorable little life together.
